Katia Madrid and Cristina Paulsen
Katia and Cristina co-founded Kapchiy Foundation, which aims to design and promote workshops and seminars of different art disciplines for underprivileged children and teenagers in public schools in Chile. The main objective of the organization is to increase the self-esteem of this children, using arts to empower them and develop resilience.
Dike Clement is the Executive Director of Africommunity Technology Development Center. With his passion for education, he has helped young people gain admission to higher institutions through his tutorial programs. Since founding the organization, this work has impacted more 5000 people.
Alokesh Sharma, founder and director of the Kshamtalaya Foundation and Aafaaq Foundation, took Philanthropy University courses to learn more about designing programs, managing documentation and overseeing operations for the organizations.
Alejandro Silva Diaz
Alejandro is the executive director of Mentes Puertorriqueñas en Acción, a local organization in Puerto Rico. He found Philanthropy University courses integral to his work. The fundraising course he took helped him to focus his efforts on relationship building.
Fadera is the president of an organization that supports sustainable development, with a focus on environmental advocacy and youth development. Inspired by a Philanthropy University course, her organizational strategy significantly shifted.
Betty is the founder of an organization focused on mentoring and coaching young girls and women on entrepreneurship skills, digital literacy and personal development. Betty attributes Philanthropy University with her biggest accomplishment: becoming a co-founder.
